We just got back from a great Cedar Point trip. I haven't had a bad trip here. This was our first trip with the camper. We stayed at a full hook up back in site. The best deal for staying on park property is a package with tickets and coupons for stuff to do. We had enough room for our awning. A user had stated that could be a problem. Another review said there was no camp store but there is a really nice camp store in the building where you check in. It is fairly well stocked with ice, food, drinks, souvenirs, etc. It's probably cheaper to bring your own but if you run out of milk and don't feel like driving out to get some, I think an extra dollar isn't too outrageous. If you are staying at this property, you're going there to go to Cedar Point and Soak City. You're not going there to camp out in the wilderness. But it is a nice place to take a break from the hot sun. I think it is worth the extra money for the time saved by staying on property. The noise from the coasters didn't really bother us. Our two little kids took their afternoon naps. We were further away from the Mean Streak but could here the Magnum going up the hill. The place is clean and the bathhouse was clean. Somebody had clogged up the sinks and the cleaning crew was working on that the morning we left. I don't know why people or kids have to be so inconsiderate by messing up the bathhouse. We plan on staying here again. If you are going to Cedar Point, I would say stay here to enjoy all the park has to offer.

We camped here and had a great time. On the weekend, they have activities planned for the kids. They have a decently stocked store with Slush Puppies (my daughter's favorite part!) The jumping pillow, playground, and pool are all a hit with the kids. They have a lake for boating and fishing. The RV sites are good. The people are nice. They deliver ice and firewood to you. You don't really get a good deal of firewood for what you pay. But there are a bunch of regulations about firewood because of some bug so you are not supposed to bring your own. So you're stuck paying $6 for about 4-5 pieces of wood if you want some. Overall, a good experience for our family.

We really enjoyed our stay here in June and wanted to go again this month but we waited until the last minute to check for a spot. You should definitely call ahead for a reservation. What we liked: lots of cable TV channels, pool and water slides, tree house, clean bathrooms, playground, nice people, newspaper delivered each morning, lake to fish in. Unlike other campgrounds, when you purchase firewood you get a big load for you money. The campground owner goes around and visits with the campers to see how everyone is doing. One thing we would change is they have a playground that you can't get to when the pool is closed. The pool doesn't open until 11 am and we have little kids who need something to do. We will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed camping here. The sites are level but up on a hill. Be ready to walk uphill to get back to your camper. They had a few activities for the kids on Memorial Day Weekend. The playground is nice. They have mini golf and paddle boats to rent. If you don't mind swimming in a lake, they have slides and a water trampoline for swimmers. I'm just not big on lake swimming. They have a decent concession stand. They don't have much in the store for supplies but Wal-Mart is nearby. The campground road to get over to the RV sites from the check in area is kind of narrow so just be prepared for that. A fun place to camp overall and close to the Amish Country.
